We are currently looking for an Enterprise Architect for our client. The Strategy and Architecture Branch of the IT Division of the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement has an ongoing need for an experienced and knowledgeable Enterprise Architecture resource to be a member of the team.
This position will be located on-site at the Government of Saskatchewan office in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
The Enterprise Architect will be collaborating closely with the Director, Architecture as well as senior leadership throughout ITD and GOS ministries. The resource will collaborate with other resources as needed to develop outcomes in alignment with the government’s and the ministry’s priorities and expectations.
The intended start date for the role is April 1, 2025, for a three-year contract with a possible extension of two-years.
Key qualities of the resource will be:
• A self starter with professional accountability
• High degree of communication skills, able to present ideas, strategies, theories and plans to all levels of the organization in a manor consumable for the audience.
• High degree of organizational skill, able to multitask and set clear timelines for expected deliverables.
• Collaborative and consultative approach to problem solving.
Duties of the Resource will include, but are not necessarily limited to:
• Business/IT strategy Development and planning
• Business application and technology portfolio management and rationalization
• Multi-year capital and operational budget planning including projections for total cost of ownership.
• Business Capability planning.
• Architectural Governance and Standards Development
• Enterprise risk management
The ideal Enterprise Architect will have extensive experience at a senior level in:
• North American Public Sector Organizations
• Architecture Practice Maturity
• Application /Technology Portfolio Management
• Business capability analysis, development, and management
• Business and technology services planning, design, and orchestration
• Enterprise information and technology roadmap alignment
• Technical governance framework design
• Facilitation with business and IT partners and third-party vendors

This role, is a three (3) year contract engagement with a two-year extension if both parties are amenable. This work will be conducted on-site, in Regina, Saskatchewan.
