EPPM Functional Consultant

We’re seeking an experienced EPPM Functional Consultant to support our client, a major provincial energy utility, in enhancing, supporting, and optimizing their Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) environment. This role collaborates with project managers, business analysts, technical teams, and enterprise stakeholders to improve project governance, scheduling practices, portfolio reporting, and enterprise project delivery maturity.

The consultant will provide deep functional expertise in Primavera P6 or equivalent EPPM platforms, helping to define requirements, configure solutions, improve reporting capabilities, and support integrations with enterprise systems.

LOCATION & WORK HOURS

THE ROLE – EPPM Functional Consultant
As the EPPM Functional Consultant, you will analyze business needs, design functional solutions, configure EPPM capabilities, and support project governance processes. You will work closely with PMO leaders, delivery teams, schedulers, and IT groups to optimize scheduling, resource allocation, reporting, workflow efficiencies, and portfolio transparency.

The role includes functional design, configuration, testing, documentation, reporting improvements, and supporting enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with ERP, asset management, and financial systems.

MANDATORY EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience gathering requirements, writing functional specifications, and defining EPPM configuration
  • Prior experience supporting PMO or capital project environments
  • Experience working in structured SDLC, release management, and change control processes
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills

    We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Professional Services Partner (PSP) to support a critical software transition program for one of our global clients in the life sciences and scientific instrumentation space.

    ABOUT THE PROJECT
    Our client is one of world’s leading Scientific Test and Measurement organizations.  They are currently in the process of retiring a legacy operating system that supports scientific instruments and is transitioning to a next-generation software platform. For customers with multiple instruments or highly integrated workflows, this transition can be complex and potentially disruptive.  As Project Manager/PSP, you will serve as the key interface between the client’s commercial, service, and implementation teams—ensuring client needs are fully understood, high-risk transitions are managed proactively, and sales teams are equipped to generate accurate and timely upgrade quotes.  This role is best suited for someone who brings a strong technical foundation – such as engineering, field service, or medical device instrumentation – and has transitioned into project or program management.
