We are Systematix and we are currently seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist – AI Transformation for an opportunity with a public sector client. The ideal candidate must hold an active Government of Canada Reliability (Level I) security clearance. This is a hybrid role requiring up to 10 days on-site per month, expected to start in October 2026. The initial contract term is 14 months, with the option to extend for an additional 22 months.

About the Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refine an AI transformation roadmap that is outcome-driven, prioritized, and adaptable.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute activities related to AI framework development, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and change management to support AI adoption across the division, using Agile principles and practices.
• Contribute to the development and continuous enhancement of an AI framework, including delivery and operating model, architecture patterns, reusable AI assets, playbooks, etc.
• Facilitate collaboration and alignment among executives, business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners to support AI transformation activities.
• Coordinate and facilitate leadership committees, working groups, stakeholder engagement forums, and regular demo and review sessions to drive alignment, oversight, and progress across the AI transformation.
• Identify opportunities to expand and scale successful AI capabilities, capture lessons learned, and recommend continuous improvements to transformation approaches, processes, and delivery practices.
• Related activities and deliverables, as required.

About the Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Artificial Intelligence.
• AI, Cloud, or Digital Transformation certifications from recognized institutions or technology vendors.
• Minimum of 8 years of recent demonstrated work experience leading large-scale enterprise projects, programs or transformation initiatives.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent demonstrated work experience supporting the delivery of AI transformation, digital modernization, innovation or emerging technology initiatives within large organizations.
• Experience delivering project or transformation outcomes in complex, fast-paced, Agile-structured environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience establishing and maintaining governance structures, operating models, performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and program oversight processes.
• Experience supporting organizational change management and technology transformation initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and workforce enablement activities.
• Knowledge of AI technologies, AI governance considerations, and AI adoption strategies.
• Experience engaging and collaborating with senior executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams, including facilitating technical demonstrations and workshops, steering committees, and decision-making forums.

Pay Disclosure

The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:

• Junior: 0–5 years of experience – $40-75/hr
• Intermediate: 6–9 years of experience – $60-100/hr
• Senior: 10+ years of experience – $90-150/hr

Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
