Senior Organizational Change Management Specialist – AI Transformation
We are Systematix and we are currently seeking a Senior Organizational Change Management Specialist – AI Transformation for an opportunity with a public sector client. The ideal candidate must hold an active Government of Canada Reliability (Level I) security clearance. This is a 1-year hybrid contract role requiring 10 days on-site per month, expected to start in December 2026.
About the Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an integrated Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategy, roadmap, and change plan aligned with AI transformation priorities, program milestones, dependencies, and business outcomes.
- Assess organizational readiness and change impacts across roles, teams, processes, technology, and ways of working, and translate findings into targeted actions.
- Advise sponsors and leaders on workforce implications, resistance management, responsible AI use, psychological safety, and the leadership behaviors required to support successful adoption.
- Create clear and compelling communications, engagement strategies, and change narratives that explain transformation objectives, impacts, and expected behaviors.
- Design and implement adoption approaches for AI-enabled tools and new ways of working, including role-based learning, manager enablement, champion networks, pilot activities, and reinforcement strategies.
- Collaborate with key departments, teams, and stakeholders to support change activities and make responsible AI requirements understandable and actionable for employees and leaders.
- Define adoption, readiness, capability, and value-realization measures and provide reporting, insights, and recommendations to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Develop reusable playbooks, frameworks, templates, toolkits, and knowledge-transfer materials that strengthen ITS change management capability and support the sustained adoption of AI initiatives
- Related activities and deliverables, as required.
About the Qualifications
- University degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, or Behavioural Science.
- Certification in a recognized Organizational Change Management methodology, such as Prosci ADKAR, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or an equivalent Organizational Change Management certification.
- A minimum of five 5 years of recent experience providing Organizational Change Management (OCM) services supporting complex, enterprise-wide technology, digital, business, or AI transformation initiatives.
- Experience leading the organizational change management workstream for at least one enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Generative AI transformation initiative through multiple lifecycle phases, including strategy, discovery, pilot, deployment, scaling, and sustained adoption.
- Experience developing and implementing OCM strategies, roadmaps, readiness assessments, change impact assessments, and adoption plans for large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Experience advising executive sponsors, senior leaders, and multidisciplinary teams on organizational change, stakeholder engagement, workforce impacts, resistance management, communications, and adoption activities.
- Experience establishing adoption and value-realization measures and developing reusable frameworks, playbooks, toolkits, learning assets, and knowledge-transfer materials that support sustained organizational capability.
- Knowledge of organizational change management methodologies, principles, and leading practices applicable to large-scale technology and AI transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of AI and Generative AI adoption considerations, including impacts to workflows, operating models, workforce capabilities, and ways of working.
- Knowledge of responsible AI principles, including human oversight, transparency, accountability, privacy, security, output validation, and appropriate use.

Pay Disclosure
The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:
- Junior: 0–5 years of experience – $40-75/hr
- Intermediate: 6–9 years of experience – $60-100/hr
- Senior: 10+ years of experience – $90-150/hr
Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
