Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA)
Systematix is currently seeking a Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA) for our client, a major provincial utility organization, to support the delivery of cybersecurity and infrastructure-focused initiatives within a regulated enterprise environment.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Systematix is supporting a major provincial utility organization undertaking initiatives within Enterprise Security & Architecture, focused on delivering small to medium-sized cybersecurity and infrastructure projects.
The PM/BA will play a hybrid role, responsible for both project delivery and business analysis, ensuring successful execution of initiatives across security and IT infrastructure domains.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of small to medium-sized cybersecurity and infrastructure projects
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Perform business analysis activities including requirements elicitation and documentation
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and gather business and technical requirements
- Conduct business process modeling and gap analysis
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, and change control processes
- Support procurement, cost management, and quality assurance activities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
- Develop test plans, support UAT, and ensure traceability of requirements
- Maintain project documentation including plans, logs, and reporting artifacts
- Provide regular status updates and communications to stakeholders and program teams
- Support integration management and ensure alignment with enterprise security objectives
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-have:
- 7–10+ years of experience in Project Management and/or Business Analysis
- Proven experience delivering IT, security, or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of project management disciplines (scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality)
- Experience with requirements gathering, business process modeling, and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and facilitate workshops
- Experience with test planning, traceability, and delivery coordination
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan
Nice-to-have:
- PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or PROSCI certifications
- Experience in cybersecurity or enterprise security initiatives
- Experience in utilities, Crown corporations, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with OT (Operational Technology) environments
- Experience working within Enterprise Security & Architecture teams
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Location: Onsite – Regina, Saskatchewan
Planned Start Date: June 1, 2026
Planned End Date: May 31, 2027 (with possibility for extension)
Guaranteed Utilization: 100%
PAY DISCLOSURE:
Intermediate (6–9 years): $85–100/hr
Senior (10+ years): $100–120/hr
Compensation is commensurate with experience, certifications, and current Saskatchewan public-sector market rates.
