Client Systems Engineer
We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Client Systems Engineer – Endpoint Management for our client.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client is continuing its endpoint modernization journey while maintaining a mature Microsoft endpoint management environment. Microsoft Intune has already been implemented, and the organization is focused on expanding device automation, streamlining provisioning, and improving endpoint management processes while continuing to support an existing Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) environment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on Endpoint Administrator who enjoys endpoint management, mobile device management (MDM), and automation, and who is comfortable supporting both modern and traditional endpoint management platforms during a multi-year transition.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Client Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
You will help maintain the existing SCCM environment while supporting the organization’s continued adoption of Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot. Working closely with Infrastructure and Service Desk teams, you will administer endpoint policies, manage application deployments, support mobile device management, and help automate endpoint provisioning and lifecycle management.
This position is focused on operational excellence, endpoint administration, and continuous improvement rather than large-scale architecture or enterprise transformation.
REQUIREMENTS
Must Have
- 3–6 years of endpoint administration or endpoint engineering experience
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune
- Experience supporting Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM)
- Experience configuring and supporting Windows Autopilot
- Experience administering Windows 10 and Windows 11 endpoints
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Experience deploying applications and managing endpoint compliance policies
- Experience with endpoint imaging, provisioning, and lifecycle management
- Experience supporting iOS devices within Microsoft Intune
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) or equivalent Microsoft endpoint management certification
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Jamf or other MDM platforms
- Experience with Android Enterprise management
- Experience with co-management (SCCM and Intune)
- Experience with endpoint automation using PowerShell
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Experience with Patch My PC or similar application management solutions
- Experience participating in SCCM-to-Intune migration initiatives
ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Concord, Ontario (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-month contract to start
Start Date: ASAP
Work Hours: Standard business hours with occasional after-hours maintenance activities.
PAY DISCLOSURE
The expected hourly contract pay range for this opportunity is:
- Intermediate Endpoint Administrator: $55–$65/hour
Compensation is commensurate with experience, certifications, and demonstrated technical expertise.
