Verification Specialist

We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Verification Specialist with strong communication skills to work with one of the world’s leaders in Life Sciences technologies.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
We are looking for a new team member to support our Software Department by designing formal test protocols and performing verification activities, as well as maintaining other department equipment, documents and records.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop manual and automated verification protocols against provided specifications
Execute verification protocols, capture results and create corresponding records and reports
Update specification, as well as maintain various company records and create reports
Interact with representatives from various functions to obtain the required information and to receive and provide updates on the work progress, issues and risks
Perform other miscellaneous activities to support the department needs.

ABOUT THE SKILLS

Mandatory:

Experience with formal product verification (both developing and executing test protocols)
Test automation experience
College diploma (technical) or University degree (B.Sc.)
Strong typing skills and demonstrated expertise in using MS Office
Strong attention to details and ability to concentrate for extended periods of time

Nice to have

Knowledge of computer architecture and components
Experience of using JIRA and Confluence (or any other similar defect management and knowledge management systems)
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. FitNesse, Fit, Ranorex, Selenium, etc.)

General

Persistence and patience with repetitive daily work
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Requires minimum supervision
Good at following written instructions and procedures
Excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills
Passion for continuous improvement

IT Support Analyst

Systematix is currently looking for an IT Support Analyst to support the implementation of a technical environment in our client’s new premises.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client is one of the world’s leading Life Sciences companies, with offices around the globe.  Working as IT Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing Level 1 and 2 deskside support for IT Operations for all relevant IT infrastructure, systems and applications.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing user and administrative support for desktop and local server systems.
Providing technical guidance to users and management for desktop support and local server systems.
Assisting Supervisor in development of desktop support and local server systems strategy.
Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of all relevant hardware and software.
Implementation and support of network operating systems and services.
Configuration, installation & deployment of all PC’s and PC related peripherals.
Configuration, installation, deployment & support of desktop management suite.
Supporting local manufacturing systems.
Developing and maintaining appropriate desktop and server related procedures and ensure these procedures are enforced.
Developing & maintaining appropriate disaster recovery procedures.
Developing a working knowledge of department specific applications.
Keeping abreast of technical aspects of PC-LAN computing environment.
Performing system analysis and utilization reports as required.

ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent)
Up-to-date professional IT certification
3+ year experience of providing end user desktop support
3+ year experience of PC applications / operating systems / hardware
Good knowledge of IT hardware and associated peripherals
Good knowledge of Microsoft operating system and Office applications
Ability to use technical documentation and diagnostic tools to solve hardware and software problems
Ability to perform risk assessments.
Ability to work as part of a team
Good judgment and strong analytical skills as well as follow-up and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

This is a 3-month contract role to be performed at our client’s site in the Los Angeles area.

UPK Courseware Developer

We are looking for a UPK Courseware Developer for an upcoming opportunity with a Federal Government department. The ideal candidate already possesses a federal government security clearance at the Secret level.

About the Responsibilities:

• Experience as a UPK developer working with Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) v 12.1 or higher.
• Design, develop and publish training material using Oracle UPK developer tool v3.5 or higher.
• Troubleshooting and maintaining UPK application issues.
• Updating and maintaining UPK-related user and application documentation.
• Able to identify and correct gaps in functionality and user documentation.
• Creating content for new functionality not previously available.
• Making updates and revise existing processes and user guide materials.
• Work with functional analysts to identify and flush out gaps in requirements.
• Provide updates internally and from time to time to external organizations on status of UPK updates.

About the Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of recent UPK experience.
