IT Operations Site Lead

We are Systematix and we are currently looking for an experienced, hands-on IT Operations Site Lead to provide onsite technology leadership and end-user support for one of our key clients in Cardiff, Wales.

Our client is a global leader in life sciences and technology, supporting customers around the world with innovative solutions that advance and accelerate scientific research and development.
The organization is seeking an experienced IT Site Lead to take ownership of day-to-day technology support at its Cardiff location. Working alongside an existing onsite IT resource and broader global IT teams, the successful candidate will serve as the primary technology point of contact for the site, providing hands-on technical support while proactively engaging with the business to identify issues, improve service, and ensure users have the technology support they need.
This is not a traditional reactive support role. We are looking for someone who enjoys being visible within the business, builds strong relationships with users and stakeholders, takes ownership of issues, and actively looks for opportunities to improve the onsite technology experience.
