PeopleSoft Developer Lead

Systematix is looking for a PeopleSoft Developer Lead. Work is fully remote for an Ottawa based client. Ideal candidate already possesses a security clearance at the Reliability level (Level I) or has lived in Canada for at least 10 years. This is a multi year contract to start in early November.

Description of Requirement: The resource will be required, without limitation, to perform any combination of the following tasks:

  1. Experience with Fluid pages a strong asset.
  2. Collaborate on business/functional requirements, project scope, and effort estimation.
  3. Translate functional/business requirements into technical requirements.
  4. Provide technical expertise and support for PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and CRM.
  5. Lead unit, integration, and performance testing.
  6. Build interfaces between PeopleSoft HCM and internal systems.
  7. Ensure custom development aligns with functional specifications.
  8. Conduct knowledge transfer through training, demos, and documentation.
  9. Review and analyze system enhancement requests.
  10. Produce and review technical documentation.
  11. Present and amend technical documentation as needed.
  12. Assist in developing and managing technical project plans.
  13. Design, develop, and test PeopleSoft customizations (SQR, COBOL, PeopleCode, interfaces).
  14. Develop composite applications using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, web services, and protocols.
  15. Analyze requirements using PeopleTools (Security Admin, Application Designer, PeopleCode, etc.).
  16. Lead development of technical programs for data conversion, security, and reports.
  17. Provide support during PeopleTools 8.58+ upgrade.
  18. Review PeopleSoft Commercial releases and analyze their impact on applications.
  19. Lead PS ad-hoc report development using BI Publisher, Application Engine, PS Query, and SQR.

Network Security Architect

We are currently looking for a talented Network Security Architect for our client. Saskatchewan Government Insurance is looking to augment its transformational project with a seasoned Network Security Architect.
Preference will be given to resources that are available to work onsite at the Head Office in Regina however resources working remote across Canada will be considered. The desired work hour coverage is 8:00AM – 4:30 PM Saskatchewan Time (CST).
Network Security Architect Requirements:

 

    Expertise and Experience with PCI DSS Compliance

    Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network architectures that comply with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).
    A portfolio of previous projects highlighting successful PCI-compliant network designs, with references from past clients.

Technical Skills

Network Design: Proficiency in designing secure and scalable network architectures, including segmentation, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure connectivity.
Network Technology, specifically:

Cisco Networking Products – Advanced knowledge and firsthand experience with Cisco networking products, including Cisco SD-WAN/SDA, routers, switches, and security appliances, with a focus on designing PCI-compliant network solutions.
Check Point Firewalls – Expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing Check Point firewalls, including advanced features such as threat prevention, IDS/IPS and compliance with PCI DSS.
F5 Big-IP – In-depth experience with F5 Big-IP products, including application delivery controllers (ADC), load balancers, and SSL offloading, ensuring secure and compliant network traffic management.

Secure Architecture Frameworks

Knowledge of secure architecture frameworks such as Zero Trust, defense-in-depth, and layered security models.

Cloud Security

Expertise in designing secure network architectures in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, with a focus on PCI compliance in cloud deployments.

Encryption and Key Management

Experience with implementing encryption protocols, key management systems, and secure communication channels that meet PCI requirements.

Compliance and Governance

Compliance Auditing and Documentation

Ability to produce detailed network architecture documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies, which can be used for PCI audits.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to address identified risks in network security.

Security Policies and Procedures

Expertise in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures that align with PCI DSS requirements.

Experience, Communication and Documentation

Demonstrated Experience

Provide details of the hands-on experience with the products outlined in the technical skills section.

Clear Communication

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Training and Knowledge Transfer

Ability to provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams on maintaining PCI-compliant network architectures.

References and Certifications

Client References

Provide client references, especially from organizations with similar needs and PCI compliance requirements. SGI may contact references for quick validations of experience.

About the role:
This role is a one year, (12) month contract engagement with a 1-year extension option.
