Mandatory Education & Experience
Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
10+ years of progressive experience in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise information management.
Expertise in designing and implementing data warehouse, data lake, and data integration architectures.
Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL tools, data pipelines, and relational and non-relational database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, MongoDB).
Proven experience defining and enforcing data governance, metadata management, and data quality standards.
Experience with cloud-based data solutions (Azure Data Services, AWS, or GCP).
Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics environments (Power BI, Tableau).

About the Responsibilities

About the Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years of experience providing cloud system administration services and cloud infrastructure administration.
A minimum of 10 years of experience analyzing transformation requirements and providing strategic advice, planning and option recommendations on the migration of enterprise applications to a Platform as a Service Cloud system environment.
A minimum of 5 years of experience providing project management services including guidance and advice related to the planning and/or deployment of an MS Azure Cloud infrastructure.
A minimum of 5 years of experience analyzing transformation requirements and providing strategic advice, planning and option recommendations on the migration of enterprise applications to a MS Azure Platform as a Service Cloud system environment.
Must have experience on at least 2 Workload Migration (WLM) projects with the Government of Canada, or with a medium to large organization (at least 1500 employees), migrating applications from an on-premise data centre to a Cloud platform which included the following: Planning and implementing the infrastructure architecture, Participating in SCRUM sessions wit developers to resolve cloud migration issues, and Overseeing the migration of at least 50 web-based applications to a Cloud platform.
