ServiceNow Administrator (Remote)

Systematix is currently looking for a Certified ServiceNow System Administrator to help support the significant amount of global workforce requirements, currently coordinated by their singular administrator.

ABOUT THE PROJECT(S):

Our client is one of the world’s leading Life Sciences companies in the world, with offices around the globe.

In this role, you would be working with the Applications Manager Leader and existing ServiceNow Administrator in their daily duties, including the development of automated processes to help streamline the use and implementation of new users, organizational changes and other ServiceNow duties. Please note: Our client is considering a mandatory pre-requisite of being either a ServiceNow System Admin or Developer. Those without may be considered secondary candidates, unless commensurate experience justifies the lack of certification.

This role will work closely within the IT planning organization, primarily with incoming IT M&A (merger and acquisitions) and leaders of various organizations under the parent company (Danaher) in the midst of transitioning into their global portfolio.

This is a fairly autonomous role, working remotely for a Global organization, and someone who waits for the next thing to do, won't be a good fit. We need someone who can take charge of their role, see beyond the job description, and make it their own. We'll need a dynamic self-starter, who leverages their exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to make the varied projects track smoothly, with no surprises.

Systems Administrator with Security Experience

We are Systematix and we are looking for aSystems Administratorwith strong security and Microsoft server/systems admin experience (especially Managing Active Directory)to filla six-month contract position with one of our key clientele in Toronto.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Systems Administratorwill be a member of a team of highly skilled hands-on individuals tasked with supporting IT Infrastructure hosted in co-located datacenters as well as in public cloud (Azure, AWS) and private cloud (SalesForce), while assisting with technical infrastructure and security implementation projects to support corporate initiatives.

You will assist in developing and designing IT infrastructure components aligned to client's Business and technical requirements. Supported systems may include compute (physical, virtual and cloud), storage, network, and cabling infrastructure. Must demonstrate the ability to effectively analyze complex processes and recommend opportunities to optimize cost and efficiency. As an expert troubleshooter, you will lead investigation and resolution of infrastructure related incidents andproactively recommend enhancements for improved security and availability. Focused on continuous improvement, you will develop engineering standards, performance metrics and procedures for repeatable, error free design, implement and operate processes and make use of process automation where applicable.

Knowledge and current experience preferred:

o Active Directory, Azure AD, Office 365, System Center Operations Manager

o Administration and management of Server Operating systems, RHEL enterprise Linux, Windows Server

o Focus on managing and creating Active directory GPO’s

o Proficient in using Microsoft SCCM, Auto Pilot creating images and software deployment for desktops.

o Datacenter hardware specifically HPE Synergy, HPE 3Par/ Primera and Nimble Storage, NetApp

o VMware vSphere Virtualization. Experience with Horizon View VDI.

o Public cloud Infrastructure management and design (Azure and AWS). Experience with Infrastructure as code and Azure ARM templates.

· Comfortable with occasional racking/un-racking equipment and connecting physical cables

This is a six (6) month hybrid (remote and onsite) contract position at client's Mississauga offices with strong opportunity to extend, or turn into fulltime work based on performance.

This role has a strong focus on IT infrastructure services such as server and systems management and their supporting technologies. In your role you will need to be able to communicate with people at all levels in the organization and work with several of our suppliers and partners.
