We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a NetSuite Administrator to support the enterprise-wide operations of a fast-growing organization in Vaughan.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a dedicated NetSuite Administrator to oversee daily administrative activities and drive key customizations within their on-premise environment. You’ll play a central role in maintaining and enhancing the platform’s effectiveness as the company navigates continued growth and potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
As the NetSuite Administrator, you will:
Serve as the primary administrator for the NetSuite ERP platform across North American operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable NetSuite solutions.
Customize and configure NetSuite to meet business needs, including forms, fields, records, workflows, and scripts.
Provide Level 1 application support and training to end-users.
Maintain system integrity, perform regular audits, and ensure data accuracy and security.
Stay current with NetSuite updates and best practices, ensuring the system evolves with business needs.
Specific Accountabilities:
Deployment & Administration
Support the implementation and rollout of a unified NetSuite instance for multiple operating companies.
Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls.
Oversee sandbox and production environments, including testing and deployment of changes.
Customization & Development
Create and maintain custom forms, fields, records, and dashboards tailored to individual company requirements.
Develop and maintain SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.0) scripts to automate and streamline operational processes.
Design and implement SuiteFlow workflows to enhance business efficiency.
Process Automation & Optimization
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across departments such as finance, procurement, and project management.
Build SmartScripts and scheduled scripts to support recurring tasks and data integrations.
Support & Training
Provide Level 1 support for NetSuite-related issues, escalating complex issues as needed.
Assist in onboarding new users and provide ongoing training and documentation.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: On-site in Vaughan, ON (5 days per week)
Start Date: June 2025
Type: Contract to Permanent
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteCloud Developer) are highly desirable.
Experience
5+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience, preferably in the construction or project-based industries.
Proven experience in implementing NetSuite from the ground up.
Strong proficiency in SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.0), SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder.
Experience with multi-subsidiary, multi-currency environments is a plus.
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with construction industry workflows and terminology is an asset.
