Project Manager

We’re currently seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to support our client, a large power utility, in leading critical operational initiatives. This role is centered on managing complex, integrated enterprise-level projects, with a specific focus on operations control systems and smart metering. The successful candidate will be responsible for the AMI Upgrade Project and the CROW Generation Project, delivering within an enterprise-scale, regulated utility environment.
The ideal candidate holds a current PMP or Prince2 certification and has experience implementing large-scale operational technologies.

LOCATION & WORK HOURS:

•    Location: Primarily onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan. Remote work may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
•    Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST

REQUIREMENTS

•    PMP or Prince2 certification (mandatory)
•    Proven experience managing:
     o    Projects related to operations control rooms.
     o    Enterprise-level system integrations.
•    Demonstrated success managing large-scale project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
•    Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
•    Familiarity with AMI systems and utility generation control projects is an asset.

DELIVERABLES

The Project Manager will be accountable for the following key project deliverables:
•    End-to-end delivery of the AMI Upgrade Project.
•    Full lifecycle management of the CROW Generation Project.
•    Coordination across technical and business teams to ensure timely, budget-aligned execution.
•    Reporting, risk tracking, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project life cycle.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a full-time contract role starting July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026 (12 months). The position is based in Regina, Saskatchewan. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST.

Senior Network and Infrastructure Project Manager (onsite Regina)

We’re currently seeking a skilled and experienced PROJECT MANAGER to support our client, SaskPower, in a senior-level role focused on Intelligent Networks & Infrastructure. This position plays a critical part in managing the delivery of server, network, and related infrastructure projects, including initiatives involving Azure cloud services and other enterprise IT systems.
The successful candidate will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that are foundational to SaskPower’s evolving digital and operational landscape, driving modernization efforts within a highly regulated and forward-looking utility environment.
LOCATION & WORK HOURS:
•    Location: Services will be performed onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan, with the possibility of ad hoc remote work from home as required
•    Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (CST), with occasional after-hours support as needed
THE ROLE – Project Manager
A seasoned Project Manager to support our client, SaskPower, within its Intelligent Networks & Infrastructure program. This senior-level role focuses on managing complex technical infrastructure projects involving server, network, and Azure cloud services.
REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory Education/Certifications:
•    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Mandatory Experience:
•    Proven experience in technical project management across: 

o    Network and server infrastructure
o    Azure (cloud) services
o    SharePoint
o    IT governance and compliance practices
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
•    2 to 4 years of formal post-secondary education (technical diploma or university degree)
•    Senior-level experience managing: 
o    Server and network infrastructure projects
o    Azure cloud platform implementations
o    Stakeholder coordination and cross-team delivery in enterprise or utility environments 
DELIVERABLES
•    Project Management Plan
o    A comprehensive roadmap covering scope, objectives, timeline, resource planning, and risk management to ensure alignment across stakeholders

•    Detailed Solution Design
o    Technical specifications and architectural design documentation tailored to the project’s infrastructure scope

•    Service Recovery Documentation
o    Disaster recovery and service restoration plans to ensure rapid recovery in the event of system failures

•    Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
o    Ongoing progress reports, risk assessments, and updates—ensuring transparency and alignment across all involved parties

This is a one-year contract role with the possibility of extension, commencing May 1, 2025. The position is onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan, with standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST).
