Systematix is currently looking for a IT Support Engineer tohelp with the support of a diverse global IT Operations network, for one of the leaders in Life Sciences technologies.
ABOUT THE PROJECT Our client is one of the world’s leading Technology Solutions companies, with offices around the globe. Working as IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for executive support over 100 corporate executives. This will include, system administration, development, security and support of all relevant IT infrastructure, systems and applications.
Your responsibilities in the role will be:
Endpoint Support
Provide comprehensive endpoint support for Corporate associates and executives, primarily using Dell Latitude devices.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as required
Windows 11 Troubleshooting
Microsoft Office Troubleshooting
Resolve Microsoft Office application related-issues
Help Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 back end issues
Assist associates with office on their mobile phones as needed
New Employee Onboarding and Endpoint Configuration
Work with HR to provide an all-encompassing onboarding presentation to new hires that outlines our policies and processes
Provision new endpoints using Windows Autopilot / Microsoft Intune
Cross-Functional Team Collaboration (HR / Finance / Etc)
Collaborate with various Teams within the organization to ensure that our solutions meet their needs
AV Systems Management and Troubleshooting
Manage and troubleshoot AV systems within the corporate office such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Jabra Speakers, Jabra Headsets, etc.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
Create and maintain documentation which includes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work, and Knowledge Base articles
Basic Network Troubleshooting
Conduct basic network troubleshooting at the corporate office, and provide smart hands support for the Network Engineering Team as required
Ticket Management
Monitor, manage, and complete incidents in Jira IT Service Management for all Corporate associates.
Global Collaboration
Participate/Lead in daily management meetings and support attainment of quality and delivery metrics within IT Operations
Work with IT Operations peers globally to coordinate support as necessary for other offices and traveling Corporate associates.
Work with Global Service to ensure quality of service
ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS
8+ of relevant experience
Senior-level experience in IT support is preferred, but candidates with exceptional soft skills/ professionalism and less experience will also be considered.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation experience.
Proficiency with Dell Latitude devices, Microsoft Office, and Windows operating systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong end user support and process experience
Self-motivated and able to work independently or lead a team effectively.
Prior experience with AV systems and network troubleshooting is an asset
Good judgment and strong analytical skills as well as follow-up and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
ABOUT THE ROLE This is a 6-month hybrid contract role to be performed at our client’s site 3 days a week in the greater Boston area.

ABOUT THE PROJECT Working as Infrastrucutre Operations Analyst for the Client Technologies division, you will be responsible for providing support for our Executives as well as gneralIT Operations including service desk, system administration, development, security and support of all relevant IT infrastructure, systems and applications.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing user and administrative support for IT systems, applications and Infrastructure
Providing technical guidance to users and management for IT related issues and queries
Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of all relevant hardware, software and systems
Assist Manager/Supervisor in development of desktop support and local server systems strategy
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of all relevant hardware and software.
Implementation and support of network operating systems and services.
Configuration, installation & deployment of all PC’s and PC related peripherals.
Configuration, installation, deployment & support of desktop management suite.
Supporting local manufacturing systems.
Developing and maintain appropriate desktop and server related procedures and ensure these procedures are enforced.
Developing a working knowledge of department specific applications.
Keeping abreast of technical aspects of PC-LAN computing environment.
Providing project management for implementations and roll-outs.
Providing Manager/Supervisor with equipment projections and assist with purchasing.
Performing daily backup procedures as defined by technical leads.
Identifying opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service, efficiency and effectiveness.
Performing system analysis and utilisation reports as required.
Logging into and using telephone and computer based Service Desk system to record all support activities.
ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent)
Up-to-date professional IT certification
4+ year experience of providing second line end user desktop support
4+ year experience of PC applications / operating systems / hardware
Strong knowledge of IT hardware and associated peripherals
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating system and Office applications
Ability to use technical documentation and diagnostic tools to solve hardware and software problems
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent judgment and strong analytical skills as well as follow-up and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform risk assessments
Willing to provide out of hours support and coverage for National holidays
ABOUT THE ROLE This is a 3-month rolling contract to be performed onsite at our client’s location in the South East England area.
