THE ROLE – ServiceNow SAM Specialist
As a ServiceNow SAM Specialist, you will lead the implementation and configuration of the ServiceNow Software Asset Management module (SAM), ensuring seamless integration with existing CMDB, discovery, and procurement systems. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements, establish governance processes, and enable automated workflows for software lifecycle management and license compliance. This role requires a hands-on expert with a strong understanding of ITAM/SAM best practices, ServiceNow architecture, and discovery tools such as SCCM and Intune.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead end-to-end implementation of the ServiceNow SAM module, including configuration, deployment, and integration with discovery tools and CMDB.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, data models, and reporting needs for effective software asset management.
Configure and operationalize vendor-specific modules (Microsoft, Oracle, SUSE, Red Hat, etc.) for license tracking and compliance.
Establish workflows for software discovery, normalization, reconciliation, and reclamation.
Implement KPIs, dashboards, and automated alerts to enhance visibility into license utilization and compliance.
Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams for sustainable support and governance.
Ensure alignment with ITAM policies, audit controls, and organizational objectives.
Deliver post-go-live support and documentation, including process maps and operational playbooks.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Proven experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow SAM in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of ITAM and SAM principles, software discovery, normalization, and reconciliation.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with SCCM, Intune, and other discovery tools.
Working knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, Software Model Library (SML), and Normalization Data Services (NDS).
Experience managing SaaS licenses and integrations for usage visibility and entitlement tracking.
Familiarity with license models (per-user, per-device, concurrent, subscription).
Ability to integrate SAM with other ServiceNow modules and external procurement systems.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SAM or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
Experience leading knowledge-transfer initiatives and developing training materials.
Strong understanding of software compliance, optimization, and audit readiness.

We’re seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to assist our client, a large public utility, in supporting and optimizing its enterprise SAP systems. This role focuses on system configuration, solution design, and end-to-end business process improvement within the SAP environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective delivery of SAP functionality that aligns with corporate objectives, compliance standards, and operational efficiency goals.

Mandatory Education & Experience
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
8–10+ years of progressive SAP functional consulting experience, with proven expertise in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
Hands-on configuration experience in one or more SAP modules, such as Finance (FI/CO), Materials Management (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Sales and Distribution (SD), or Human Capital Management (HCM).
Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, integration points, and best practices within SAP.
Experience preparing functional specifications, collaborating with ABAP developers, and supporting testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
Demonstrated background in issue resolution, performance optimization, and post-implementation support.
Prior experience working in regulated or critical infrastructure sectors (e.g., utilities, government, or energy) preferred.
Desired Certifications
SAP Certified Application Associate – relevant module specialization (FI, CO, MM, PM, SD, or HCM).
Project Management or Business Analysis certification (CBAP, PMP, or PMI-PBA) (asset). TIL v4 Foundation certification (asset).
Eligibility for NERC Personnel Risk Assessment.
Preferred Experience
Experience in SAP configuration and enhancement projects, including upgrades, migrations, or module rollouts.
Familiarity with S/4HANA transformation initiatives and SAP Fiori applications. Knowledge of integration technologies, including IDoc, BAPI, and middleware tools.
Exposure to SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, and transport management. Experience collaborating within multi-vendor enterprise environments.
Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
