Business Analyst

We’re currently seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst (BA/PM hybrid) to support our client, a large power utility, in delivering two major customer-facing initiatives: a new mobile application, and marketing and personalization enhancements for Sitecore. This role combines business analysis, product management, user experience (UX), and light project coordination within an agile-hybrid framework.
The ideal candidate brings deep UX and digital delivery experience, excellent facilitation and communication skills, and the ability to manage product delivery using Azure DevOps.

LOCATION & WORK HOURS:

•    Location: Hybrid work arrangement with a maximum of 2 work-from-home days per week. Onsite work in Regina, Saskatchewan is required.
•    Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST

REQUIREMENTS

•    Proven experience delivering:
     o    User-centered web portals using Sitecore Web Experience Manager.
     o    Public-facing mobile apps and Power BI reports.
     o    Chatbot/LiveChat solutions.
•    Strong skills in:
     o    Business process modeling, workshop facilitation, and requirements elicitation.
     o    End-user testing (UX), including test planning, script writing, and defect management.
     o    Product and project management using Azure DevOps.
     o    Visual design using Figma and Mural.
•    Experience with public engagement tools (e.g., focus groups).
•    UX Certification (Mandatory).
•    Strong knowledge of the BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) is highly desirable.

DELIVERABLES

Responsibilities:
This role supports digital project delivery and business analysis from end to end. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, visualize, test, and manage the lifecycle of public-facing applications and enhancements.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a full-time contract role starting July 1, 2025 and ending March 31, 2027 (21 months). The position is based in Regina, Saskatchewan, with up to two remote workdays per week. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST.

SAP FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT – BILLING

We’re currently seeking a skilled and experienced SAP FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT – BILLING to support our client, a large power utility within the SAP Operations & Enterprise Analytics division. This senior-level role is critical in supporting the utility’s billing initiatives and related IS-U projects. The position focuses on delivering functional support for SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing, including project work related to bill print, testing, implementation, and go-live events.
The successful candidate will bring extensive SAP IS-U expertise, ideally complemented by FICA, Device Management, and green energy program experience. This role will also contribute to solution design and be available during off-hours to support testing and deployment windows for live projects.

LOCATION & WORK HOURS:

• Location: Hybrid (offsite allowed); onsite presence in Regina, Saskatchewan may be required for testing or go-live windows.
• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
• After-hours support is expected during key implementation phases.

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Minimum 15+ years of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing experience

Desired Skills & Experience:

• SAP IS-U bill print configuration and support
• SAP IS-U FICA and Device Management modules
• Experience with SAP MCF Gateway
• SAP S/4HANA implementation exposure
• Green energy program background
• Familiarity with AMI Smart Metering
• Ability to support multiple ISU module areas as needed

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

• SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing Certification
• SAP IS-U Device Certification
• SAP IS-U FICA Certification

DELIVERABLES

The SAP Functional Consultant will be responsible for:
• Supporting ongoing billing-related SAP projects
• Participating in solution design, testing, and go-live execution
• Providing functional expertise across billing, invoicing, and related modules
• Being available during after-hours windows for production cutovers and go-lives
• Potentially supporting other IS-U modules during project gaps

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a three-year contract, starting July 1, 2025, and ending July 1, 2028, with 100% utilization guaranteed. The position is classified as Senior-level under the SAP program and will be involved in high-priority billing and customer information systems projects.

SENIOR IT BUSINESS ANALYSTS

Systematix is seeking three SENIOR IT BUSINESS ANALYSTS to join our team in support of SaskPower’s SaskNuclear IT Program. These roles will be instrumental in leading requirements management and supporting the successful implementation of complex IT systems aligned with SaskPower’s strategic nuclear initiatives.
This is a high-impact opportunity suited for seasoned analysts with a deep understanding of enterprise-level IT environments, stakeholder engagement, and business process alignment—particularly within regulated, utility, or public sector frameworks. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and a proactive approach to bridging business needs with IT delivery.

LOCATION & WORK HOURS:

•    Location: Onsite preferred (Regina, Saskatchewan)
•    Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (CST), with occasional after-hours support as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

•    8+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in complex, enterprise environments
•    Proven success leading large-scale system implementations, including both COTS and custom applications
•    Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, user-centered design, and business process modeling
•    Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and validate requirements across multiple stakeholders
•    Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
•    CBAP certification or equivalent experience is strongly preferred
•    Experience working in regulated sectors such as energy, utilities, or government is an asset

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Lead and support requirements gathering, documentation, and validation for IT systems within the SaskNuclear IT Program
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of both COTS and custom-built applications
•    Function as a senior business analyst and/or team lead on large-scale system initiatives, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions
•    Facilitate user story development, backlog grooming, and sprint planning in Agile project environments
•    Apply user-centered design principles to ensure solutions are intuitive, effective, and meet stakeholder expectations
•    Develop and maintain business process models, use cases, workflows, and functional specifications
•    Engage with stakeholders to identify pain points, gather insights, and support solution development
•    Support testing, training, and transition-to-operations activities to ensure smooth solution rollout
•    Adhere to and promote best practices in business analysis and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle

•    Requirements elicitation and documentation, including user stories and traceability
•    Business process workflows, journey maps, and capability mapping
•    Test planning and support documentation (technical and non-technical)

This is a one-year contract role with the possibility of extension, commencing April 28, 2025. The position is preferred onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan, with standard business hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST).
