We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Sr. Developer for our client.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Our client, a leader in serving the specialized equipment and lifetime product support needs of thousands of customers in diverse industries, is seeking a Sr. Developer to design, build, and enhance web applications across the full development lifecycle. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing solutions, while modernizing them into scalable, cloud-native applications within a Microsoft-centric ecosystem (Azure, .NET, SQL, APIs). The developer will collaborate with architects and delivery teams and contribute to building a technical foundation that supports future AI-driven capabilities.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise web applications while delivering scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with business needs. You will work closely with architects, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-have:
• 8–10+ years of experience in enterprise web development environments
• Strong experience with .NET (Core / .NET 8+), C#, and RESTful API development
• Solid experience with SQL Server (design, tuning, T-SQL; SQL Server 2022) and structured data handling (JSON/XML)
• Experience with data access technologies including Entity Framework, Dapper, and ADO.NET
• Strong front-end development experience with Angular (or similar SPA frameworks), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Kendo UI
• Experience working with Azure services including App Services, Functions, API Management, and Logic Apps
• Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Boards, Pipelines) and CI/CD practices
• Strong understanding of SDLC, OOP, and modern design principles
• Experience with application monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Application Insights, structured logging)
• Strong knowledge of application security including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Entra ID, JWT, and OWASP best practices
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, support production systems, and deliver enhancements in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-assisted (“vibe coding”) development practices to accelerate delivery, while maintaining full accountability for code quality, security, performance, and maintainability
Nice-to-have:
• Experience with event-driven architecture and modern distributed systems design
• Exposure to AI-enabled application features, analytics, or automation-focused environments
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Location: Concord, Ontario (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months to start / Start date: ASAP
PAY DISCLOSURE:
The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:
• Intermediate: 6–9 years of experience — $85–$95/hr
• Senior: 10+ years of experience — $95–$105/hr
Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
