Business Analyst
We’re currently seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support our client, a major provincial energy utility, in delivering critical business and technology transformation initiatives. This role will have a strong focus on Microsoft 365 platforms and tools, supporting enterprise-level IT projects, digital workplace adoption, and business process optimization.
The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in business analysis, solution delivery, and stakeholder engagement within complex, regulated environments such as utilities or energy.
Location & Work Hours
• Location: Onsite/Hybrid in Regina, Saskatchewan
• Start Date: October 1, 2025
• End Date: March 31, 2027
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Requirements
Mandatory Education & Experience
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in:
– Business analysis and requirements gathering
– IT project delivery in large enterprise environments
– Stakeholder engagement and process documentation
– Implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 solutions (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, Exchange Online)
• Demonstrated experience in regulated sectors (e.g., utilities, government, energy)
Desired Certifications
• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• ITIL Foundation or other service management framework
• Microsoft 365-related certifications are considered an asset:
– Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
– Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
– Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Preferred Experience
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 adoption, migration, and optimization projects
• Familiarity with Power BI, Visio, Power Automate, ServiceNow, and other M365-integrated platforms
• Exposure to utility business operations and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work effectively in hybrid or onsite environments
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills for both technical and executive audiences
Key Deliverables
• Documented business requirements and functional specifications
• Stakeholder analysis and engagement strategy
• Development of Microsoft 365 adoption plans (Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform)
• Project status reporting and scheduling
• Risk and impact assessments specific to M365 integration
• Transition planning, training documentation, and post-implementation support
