Systematix

We are Systematix and we are looking for multiple System Administrators, Level 3 for an upcoming opportunity with a Federal Government department. The ideal candidate must already possess a security clearance at the Secret level (Level II) or higher.

About the Project

The client is divided into multiple cloud tenants to provide logical separation between the training of clients. Each tenant is separated using next generation Software Defined Networking (SDN), individual Distributed Firewalls on each Virtual Machine and Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW) between Network Zones. The Contractor will be required to perform IT Infrastructure and applications management services for the following Infrastructure Operations:

About the Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, upgrade, maintain, troubleshoot and resolve issues with:
• VMWare 7.x, 8.x infrastructure including vCenter, ESXi and vSAN.
• Microsoft Server (2019/2022) environment.
• MS SharePoint Enterprise.
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM);
• Veeam backup systems.
• MS Windows OS environment (Win 10/11).
• Active Directory.
• with Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Datacenter hardware.
• VMWare ESX 7.x, 8.x environment.
• Microsoft Server (2019/2022) environment.
• Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO).
• Provide network documentation, training to other team members, and guidance to network support staff.
• Monitor network traffic and recommend ways to optimize traffic and/or reduce network bandwidth requirements;
• Work with vendors to resolve complex server and network problems;
• Consult with users and evaluate requirements, recommend designs, plan projects, and coordinate tasks for installation of data networks.
• Document server and network problems, and resolutions for future reference; and
• Create and monitor change request, and service request through web portal.

About the Qualifications

• The proposed resource must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a System Administrator.
• The proposed resource must have a minimum of 24 months of demonstrated experience within the past 60 months performing system administration on an enterprise scaled (10+ hosts/100+ Servers) modern datacenter infrastructure. System administration is defined as maintaining, supporting, upgrading/patching operating systems and applications.
• The proposed resource must have a minimum of 24 months of demonstrated experience within the last 60 months performing VMWare vRealize Suite administration including building vRealize Automation/Aria Cloud Templates and deploying and maintaining VROPS.
• The proposed resource must have a minimum of 24 months of demonstrated experience within the past 60 months with administering Microsoft server products which must include Windows Server 2019 or Server 2022.
• The proposed resource must have a minimum of 12 months experience within the past 60 months using VMWare Cloud Foundation (or all individual applications) which includes ESX version 7.X/8.X, vCenter, VMWare NSX-T (Software Defined Network) and vSAN (Software Defined Storage).
