PMBA – PROJECT MANAGER / BUSINESS ANALYST
We’re currently seeking a skilled PMBA Contractor to support our client, a major provincial energy utility, in leading business and technology transformation initiatives. This role focuses on gathering and documenting business requirements, engaging with stakeholders, and driving the execution of enterprise-level IT projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strength in both traditional business analysis and project coordination within complex, regulated environments such as utilities or energy.
Location & Work Hours
Location: Onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan
Start Date: August 15, 2025 (tentative)
End Date: March 31, 2027 (20-month term)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Availability: May require occasional after-hours support
Requirements
Mandatory Education & Experience
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in:
- Business analysis and requirements gathering
- IT project delivery in large enterprise environments
- Stakeholder engagement and process documentation
- Demonstrated experience in regulated sectors (e.g., utilities, government, energy)
Desired Certifications
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- ITIL Foundation or other service management framework
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to utility business operations and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work across hybrid or onsite environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Power BI, ServiceNow, or similar
- Effective communication and documentation skills across technical and executive audiences

About the Role
This is a 20-month contract position supporting the internal project portfolio and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate is both analytical and delivery-focused, capable of managing multiple streams of business and technical work while driving forward project milestones. This position is onsite in Regina, with hybrid flexibility depending on project needs.
