Licensing and Reporting Specialist
We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Microsoft Licensing and Reporting Specialist to oversee our client's licensing processes.

In this role, you will manage licensing compliance, generate insightful reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient use of Microsoft products and services. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Microsoft licensing models, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Microsoft Licensing Management

Manage and track Microsoft software licenses, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
Monitor license usage across the organization and recommend optimization strategies.
Act as the primary point of contact for licensing audits and inquiries.
Power BI Reporting

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights into software usage and licensing metrics.
Analyze data trends to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
Data Collection and Analysis

Collect, organize, and validate data related to software usage, subscriptions, and costs.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance.
Collaboration and Communication

Partner with IT, finance, and procurement teams to align licensing strategies with organizational goals.
Provide clear and concise reports and presentations to stakeholders.
Process Improvement

Develop and implement processes to streamline licensing and reporting workflows.
Stay updated on changes to Microsoft licensing models and advise on their impact.
ABOUT THE REQUIRED SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in software licensing, asset management, or a related field.
Proven experience with Microsoft licensing models (e.g., M365, Azure).
Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting is a strong asset
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with technology trends.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a 6-month contract, with a strong intent to extend, to be performed remotely anywhere in North America.
