We are Systematix and we are currently looking for an experienced Enterprise Architecture Governance Analyst to support the continued development of Enterprise Architecture and technology governance capabilities for one of our key clients.
ABOUT THE PROJECT Our client is a global leader in science and technology, supporting a diverse portfolio of businesses across healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, manufacturing, and industrial innovation. As part of the continued maturation of its Enterprise Architecture practice, the organization is seeking an experienced analyst to strengthen architecture governance processes, technology portfolio management, and its LeanIX platform.
This role combines hands-on LeanIX administration and architecture repository management with technology governance, stakeholder coordination, and executive-level documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with Enterprise Architects and cross-functional stakeholders to improve architecture data, operationalize governance processes, and develop decision-quality documentation supporting enterprise technology adoption and standards management.
This is not a traditional LeanIX administrator position. Success requires a combination of hands-on LeanIX expertise, strong analytical and process capabilities, governance discipline, and exceptional written communication skills.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer and maintain LeanIX fact sheets, relationships, attributes, surveys, and governance structures.
Manage and continuously improve data quality across application, technology, business capability, and standards portfolios.
Support the onboarding and lifecycle management of technologies and applications within LeanIX.
Maintain relationships between enterprise standards, technologies, applications, and business capabilities.
Support architecture repository governance, data validation, completeness, and audit readiness.
Coordinate with Enterprise Architects, application owners, and technology teams to obtain, validate, and maintain portfolio information.
Support the ongoing operationalization of enterprise technology standards management processes.
Identify opportunities to improve LeanIX repository governance, automation, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Draft Technology Review Decisions, Architecture Review Decisions, technology standards, governance records, decision memoranda, and related documentation.
Consolidate complex information from Architecture, Security, Privacy, Procurement, Risk, Business, and other stakeholders into clear, concise, publication-ready documentation.
Support architecture and technology review workflows from initial submission through decision, documentation, and follow-up.
Track actions, conditions, exceptions, approvals, and follow-up activities resulting from governance decisions.
Maintain architecture governance repositories, records, and supporting documentation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance processes, templates, standards, and operating procedures.
Produce executive-ready documentation that clearly communicates complex technical and business considerations and resulting decisions.
ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Architecture Governance, IT Governance, Technology Portfolio Management, or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience administering, maintaining, or operating LeanIX within an enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of architecture repositories, application portfolios, technology portfolios, and associated governance processes.
Exceptional technical writing and document development skills, with the ability to transform fragmented and complex inputs into concise, decision-quality documentation.
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and data quality.
Experience coordinating information and decisions across multiple technical and business stakeholder groups.
Ability to work independently and effectively with senior technology and business stakeholders.
Strong organizational and process management capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple governance activities, documentation requirements, and follow-up actions simultaneously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
LeanIX certification or advanced hands-on LeanIX administration experience.
Experience supporting Architecture Review Boards, Technology Review Boards, or similar enterprise governance functions.
Experience with application portfolio management, technology standards management, and enterprise technology governance.
Experience working with cybersecurity, privacy, procurement, compliance, risk, or third-party risk management processes.
Experience developing repeatable governance processes, templates, workflows, and standard operating practices.
Experience working within large, global, or federated enterprise environments.
ABOUT THE ROLE This is an initial six-month contract opportunity with the potential for extension or conversion based on ongoing business requirements. The role is remote within North America, with the successful candidate expected to consistently work Eastern Time Zone business hours and collaborate with stakeholders across a global enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable working hands-on within LeanIX, coordinating with senior stakeholders, and developing polished executive-facing governance documentation. Strong writing skills are essential to this position. Success in the role will include improving LeanIX data quality and governance compliance, accelerating the development of technology review documentation, increasing the consistency and traceability of architecture decisions, and establishing scalable governance processes that allow Enterprise Architects to spend more time focused on strategic architecture activities.
