Senior FinOps Expert (Cloud, Python, Power BI, Excel) Montréal (on-site presence preferred, hybrid work possible) Start Date as soon as possible | Duration: Until September 30, 2025 (with possible extension)
Context :
This role is essential to ensure continuity in cloud financial operations and to provide immediate hands-on technical leadership to support the current team (currently operating with only one active member).
Key Responsibilities :
Optimize cloud financial operations in close collaboration with Finance, P&SM, and Cloud teams (Designers, PMs, etc.).
Reduce cloud-related costs, eliminate waste, and improve resource utilization across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
Generate cloud cost reports and forecasts using Power BI, Excel, and Power Query.
Assess and implement cost-reduction mechanisms (e.g., reservations, discounts, etc.).
Provide interim technical leadership to strengthen FinOps practice.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
FinOps expert with solid experience in cloud financial management (GCP and Azure).
Proficiency with Apptio Cloudability, Power BI, Python, and advanced Excel.
Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
