We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist for our client.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to lead quality assurance and automation testing across enterprise public sector solutions. The role supports the full SDLC, ensuring high-quality, accessible, secure, and reliable web and mobile applications through comprehensive testing strategies and automation.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop testing strategies, plans, scripts, cases, and test data
• Execute functional, integration, regression, system, performance, load, stress, security, accessibility, and UAT testing
• Lead defect triage and manage defects in Azure DevOps, ALM, JIRA, and Bugzilla
• Develop automation scripts using Selenium, UFT, TestComplete, Postman, and similar tools
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Validate backend data using SQL queries
• Perform JMeter/LoadRunner performance testing
• Support Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, BAs, and PMs
• Maintain testing documentation, metrics, release notes, and user documentation
• Ensure compliance with AODA and accessibility standards

REQUIREMENTS:
Must-have:

• 5–10 years QA experience in Agile/DevOps/Scrum
• 5–10 years automation and manual testing
• Extensive regression, system, integration, UAT, security, penetration, and AODA testing
• Azure DevOps test management
• Strong Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Case, and test data experience
• Selenium, UFT, TestComplete, Postman
• CI/CD experience
• SQL backend validation
• HTML5, WAI-ARIA, UX, accessibility remediation
• Java/Angular familiarity
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Nice-to-have:

• Ontario Public Sector experience
• Contact centre testing
• COTS testing
• Information Management knowledge
• Python, JavaScript, or Bash scripting
• Bilingual testing

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER:

• Provide knowledge transfer to project teams
• Document QA processes, automation assets, and operational procedures
• Support transition planning

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Location: Onsite – 222 Jarvis Street, Toronto, Ontario
Duration: July 6, 2026 – March 31, 2027
Work Hours: 7.25 hours/day, Monday to Friday

PAY DISCLOSURE:
The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:

• Junior: $65–$72/hr
• Intermediate: $72–$76/hr
• Senior: $76–$79.69/hr

Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, automation expertise, accessibility testing, certifications, and market conditions.
