Systematix is currently seeking a Microsoft 365 Solution Architect to support a large enterprise organization's cloud collaboration and digital workplace modernization initiatives. This senior-level role will provide architecture, design, migration, and implementation expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, supporting enterprise collaboration, security, compliance, and cloud transformation programs.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Systematix is supporting a large enterprise modernization initiative focused on the design, deployment, optimization, and governance of Microsoft 365 technologies. The successful candidate will serve as a senior Microsoft 365 specialist and solution architect, providing technical leadership across collaboration, productivity, security, and compliance platforms.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, security specialists, and technical resources to design and implement secure, scalable, and compliant Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with organizational standards and strategic objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in cloud transformation initiatives, enterprise migrations, information protection programs, and digital workplace enhancements.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation activities across the Microsoft 365 platform
• Design, configure, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 services including Intune, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Outlook, Office 365, and Purview
• Develop solution architecture, security architecture, and technical design documentation
• Lead tenant-to-tenant migration planning, execution, and validation activities
• Design and implement Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels, information protection, and compliance solutions
• Develop security architecture aligned with Zero Trust principles and industry best practices
• Support Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps integration initiatives
  Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify requirements and develop optimal solutions
• Provide architecture guidance and technical leadership throughout project lifecycles
  Support troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 services
• Design and document integration patterns between Microsoft 365 services and enterprise systems
• Participate in governance, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making processes
• Ensure solutions align with operational, security, compliance, and business requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support cloud transformation initiatives

REQUIREMENTS – Must-Have

• 5+ years of expert-level Microsoft 365 architecture and implementation experience
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting Intune, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Outlook, Office 365, and Purview
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps
• Experience performing tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations
• Experience implementing Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels and compliance controls
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust security architecture principles
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• TOGAF certification
• ITIL certification
• Strong architecture documentation and technical communication skills
• Experience working with enterprise-scale Microsoft cloud environments

REQUIREMENTS – Nice-to-Have

• Post-secondary education in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Azure Security Engineer certification
• Previous experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments within government, public-sector, or large enterprise organizations
• Experience working within highly regulated industries
• Experience supporting enterprise security and compliance initiatives
• Experience with large-scale cloud modernization and digital workplace transformation projects

Position: Microsoft 365 Solution Architect
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Onsite preferred; remote candidates will be considered
Planned Start Date: August 3, 2026
Planned End Date: July 31, 2027
Duration: Approximately 12 months
Guaranteed Utilization: 100%

PAY DISCLOSURE

Intermediate Microsoft 365 Solution Architect (5–8 years): $95–$115/hr
Senior Microsoft 365 Solution Architect (8+ years): $115–$140/hr

Compensation is commensurate with experience, certifications, and alignment with Saskatchewan public-sector market conditions.
