We are Systematix and we are currently looking for an IT Project Manager for our Diagnostics client.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Our client is a global Diagnostics organization operating within a complex, multi-operating company structure. They are undertaking a strategic initiative to centralize identity management across four operating companies within their Diagnostics platform.
This initiative will improve governance, standardization, and security alignment across the enterprise. The environment is decentralized and fast-paced, with limited formal PMO structure. The successful candidate must be comfortable operating in a process-light setting and driving execution with minimal support.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of an identity centralization initiative spanning four operating companies and an outsourced partner. You will be responsible for establishing structure, aligning stakeholders, managing risk, and ensuring successful execution across business and IT teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading planning and execution of the identity centralization program across multiple operating companies
• Managing coordination and accountability across internal stakeholders and an outsourced delivery partner
• Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
• Operating effectively without formal PMO or project coordination support
• Performing business analysis activities as required, including requirements gathering and documentation
• Overseeing testing coordination, user acceptance activities, and issue resolution
• Providing executive-level reporting and proactive risk mitigation
• Driving stakeholder alignment in a decentralized enterprise environment

REQUIREMENTS:

Must-have:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience leading enterprise IT projects
• Demonstrated experience managing initiatives across multiple business units or operating companies
• Experience working with outsourced or third-party delivery partners
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts and enterprise identity programs
• Ability to operate successfully in process-light or decentralized environments
• Hands-on capability to support business analysis and testing functions when required
• Strong communication skills with executive and cross-functional stakeholders

Nice-to-have:

• Experience within Diagnostics, Life Sciences, or other regulated industry environments
• Experience leading identity centralization, IAM transformation, or access governance initiatives

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Location: Canada, remote (Eastern Time Zone hours required)
Duration: 12-month contract
Work hours: Full-time contract engagement

PAY DISCLOSURE:
The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows (CAD):
Senior Level: 8+ years of experience — $115–130/hr
Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
