Dayforce HRIS Implementation & Adoption Manager

We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Dayforce HRIS Implementation & Adoption Manager for our client.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Our client is undertaking a major HR technology transformation initiative centered around the successful implementation, optimization, and enterprise-wide adoption of Dayforce HCM across Canadian and U.S. operations. This role will serve as the internal Dayforce lead and trusted advisor responsible for ensuring the HR organization successfully transitions into Dayforce processes, workflows, reporting, governance, and operational best practices over an approximately six-month transformation period.

This engagement requires a highly experienced Dayforce professional capable of operating at both the strategic and hands-on levels. The successful candidate will lead implementation activities, support operational stabilization, drive stakeholder alignment, and help establish long-term HRIS governance and support practices. A key focus of the role will be enabling HR, Payroll, and operational leaders to become confident, self-sufficient Dayforce users while ensuring the platform is configured and optimized to support a complex cross-border HR and payroll environment.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will lead the Dayforce implementation, optimization, and organizational adoption efforts while acting as the organization’s internal Dayforce subject matter expert and transformation lead. You will work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, Operations, and leadership teams across both Canada and the U.S. to drive successful deployment, user enablement, operational readiness, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end Dayforce implementation and post-go-live stabilization activities including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and operational transition
• Serving as the primary Dayforce expert and strategic advisor for HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders
• Driving organizational change management initiatives to support user engagement, adoption, and operational readiness
• Developing and delivering Dayforce training programs, workshops, office hours, SOPs, job aids, and user enablement materials
• Supporting HR teams in transitioning legacy processes into scalable Dayforce workflows and best practices
• Translating business requirements into effective Dayforce configurations, enhancements, integrations, and reporting solutions
• Partnering cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure alignment between system functionality and operational requirements
• Managing Dayforce governance processes including release readiness, testing coordination, issue management, prioritization, and enhancement planning
• Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating resolution activities with internal teams and external vendors
• Leading data validation, reporting accuracy, system audits, and HR analytics initiatives to support operational and leadership decision-making
• Identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and process optimization across HR and Payroll operations
• Supporting Canadian and U.S. payroll, compliance, benefits, workforce management, and employee data processes within Dayforce
• Ensuring HRIS processes and configurations align with applicable cross-border legislative, payroll, privacy, and operational requirements
• Establishing sustainable HRIS governance, documentation, and support practices to ensure long-term platform success
• Providing executive-level updates, implementation status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation planning throughout the engagement
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, user experience, reporting capability, and platform utilization

REQUIREMENTS:

Must-have:

• 7+ years of experience in HRIS, HR technology, or enterprise HR systems leadership roles
• Strong hands-on Dayforce HCM implementation, configuration, and optimization experience
• Proven experience leading Dayforce or enterprise HRIS implementation and post-go-live stabilization initiatives
• Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Workforce Management, and Total Rewards processes
• Demonstrated experience supporting both Canadian and U.S. HRIS/payroll environments
• Strong knowledge of cross-border HR and payroll operational considerations, compliance requirements, and workforce processes
• Experience leading organizational change management and user adoption initiatives
• Experience developing and delivering Dayforce training and enablement programs for HR and operational stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capabilities
• Experience managing release readiness, governance, testing, and operational support processes
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, reporting, and process optimization skills
• Excellent communication, facilitation, documentation, and presentation abilities
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced transformation environment while balancing strategic priorities and hands-on execution

Nice-to-have:

• Experience supporting large, multi-location, or unionized workforce environments
• Experience with Dayforce integrations and third-party HR/payroll systems
• Experience with workforce analytics, KPI reporting, and dashboard development
• Previous experience acting as an internal HR technology transformation lead or advisor
• PMP, HRIS, Change Management, Payroll, or related certifications
