Role Overview

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of enterprise Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring the security, stability and compliance of the network infrastructure. This is a hands-on operational role involving monitoring, configuration changes, troubleshooting, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls in a production environment.

  • Perform daily configuration changes and policy updates.

  • Monitor firewall health and performance using Panorama and related tools.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network security incidents.

  • Collaborate closely with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance.

  • Support proactive firewall operations and optimization.

 

Must-Have Technical Skills :

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Palo Alto NGFW (3+ years).

  • Proficiency with Panorama for centralized firewall management.

  • Knowledge of Strata Cloud Manager (StrataCloud).

Nice-to-Have :

  • Experience with Prisma Access.

  • Experience in large enterprise environments.

  • Strong change management & incident management skills.
