Lab Managment Technician
We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a self-motivated Lab Management Student to be a significant contributor to the Product Development team with one of our key clientele.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Our client is one of North America’s leading Scientific Test and Measurement organizations, with offices worldwide. Due to its ever-expanding technology footprint, providing best in class software solutions for the equipment they design and manufacture, the future of its development technology roadmap needs a guiding hand. Reporting to the Research and Development Laboratory Manager, this position is responsible for aiding the team with maintenance of labs and instruments as well as housekeeping issues.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITES
- Conducting oil changes for roughing pumps as part of preventative maintenance program.
- Taking care of physical lab spaces by assisting in housekeeping, cleaning and keeping signage up to date.
- Assisting in moving, uncrating and assembling desks and instruments.
- Keeping safety stations equipped with signs and PPE materials.
- Assisting team technicians in Instrument Decontamination and PMs by washing parts.
ABOUT THE REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution in Sciences, Engineering, Business, Technology or other equivalent programs.
- Superior communication skills and a team-oriented, collaborative orientation
- Available to work on site during normal operating hours.

This is a contract position, located in our client’s North Toronto offices.
