IT Finance & Budgeting Analyst
We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for our client’s IT infrastructure operations.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client is a global leader in science and technology, providing a breadth of expertise and solutions to customers worldwide. As IT Infrastructure FP&A Analyst you will be instrumental in managing financial forecasts, reconciling variances, and enhancing financial processes while collaborating with IT leaders to improve financial acumen. You will require a strong background in Finance with experience in General Ledger (GL), Amortization, Accruals, and excellent communication skills to train IT stakeholders on financial best practices.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing financial analysis and variance reconciliation, identifying key cost drivers and financial trends.
Developing, managing, and refining financial forecasts to ensure accurate IT infrastructure budgeting.
Training IT leaders on financial forecasting processes, improving financial awareness across teams.
Building and continuously improving forecasting standard work, ensuring consistency and efficiency in financial planning
Collaborating with IT and finance teams to align financial strategies with infrastructure needs.
Supporting budgeting, cost allocation, and reporting processes for IT infrastructure expenditures.
ABOUT THE REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Strong experience in General Ledger (GL), Amortization, and Accruals.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train and collaborate with IT leaders.
- General IT or IT infrastructure knowledge is a strong asset
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a 6-month contract, with a strong intent to extend, to be performed remotely anywhere in North America.
