Systematix is currently looking for IT Deployment Technicians to assist our client with an abundance of PC builds and deployments.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client is one of the world’s leading Life Science organizations, with offices around the globe.  Working as Infrastrucutre Deployment Technician for the Client Technologies division, you will be responsible for providing support for relevant IT infrastructure, systems and applications for a large bundle of Dell PCs and laptops.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Configuration, installation & deployment of all PC’s and PC related peripherals.
Configuration, installation, deployment & support of desktop management suite.
Maintaining appropriate desktop and server related procedures enforced.
Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of all relevant hardware, software and systems
Implementation and support of network operating systems and services.
Maintaining appropriate disaster recovery procedures.
Developing a working knowledge of department specific applications.
Keeping abreast of technical aspects of PC-LAN computing environment.

ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent)
Up-to-date professional IT certification
4+ year experience of providing second line end user desktop support
4+ year experience of PC applications / operating systems / hardware
Strong knowledge of IT hardware and associated peripherals
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating system and Office applications
Ability to use technical documentation and diagnostic tools to solve hardware and software problems
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent judgment and strong analytical skills as well as follow-up and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a 2-month contract to be performed onsite at our client’s location in the South East England area.
