We are Systematix and we are looking for aWordPress WooCommerce Website Administratorto filla six-month+ REMOTE contract position with one of our key clientele in Toronto.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

TheWordPress WooCommerce Website Administratorwill mostly be administering the WordPress site and help with configuring plugins, API calls, and system and plugin integrations. You are skilled and experienced in creating and managing eCommerce websites and web hosting, have the curiosity to learn new technologies, and are a good team player.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Setup WordPress in different environments

Good basic UI/UX skills using Elementor Pro mainly

Setup and manage plugins: ACF, Woocommerce customization, security & backup, access control

Manage Woocommerce:

update products and categories

Support design improvement

Improve functionalities

Create pages and forms

Manage: security, backup, user access control

Manage hosting: CPanel

Handle basic/minor creation & customizations in the back/front-end coding

Coordinate jobs that require senior front/back-end developers or UI/UX designers with freelancers or 3rd parties

Coordinate the required SEO processes

Coordinate the analysis and reports of the websites performance and SEO results

Ensure consistent improvement in the team's iteration code velocity.

Manage rework (bug fixes) effort as a percentage of overall effort.

Support QA testing and production defect remediation.

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

Must have’s:

3 years minimum total experience in web administration or development including 1 year of proven experience in WordPress/Woocommerce and Web Hosting

Plugin Experience with:

MonsterInsights(Google Analytics Integration)

Experience with Google Analytics Reporting

WooCommerce

WooCommerce Subscriptions

Stripe PaymentGateway

Pay Pal

WP Control–WP-Cronsystem

Ability toQuicklyAudit WordPress plugins to ensure they match with business requirements

Ability toQuicklycode custom themes, plugins based on business requirements when needed

Ability to debug and performance tune a WooCommerce site both on server configuration side and through debugging code

Plugin/Theme Experience with:

Fluent Forms Pro(or similar multi step Form builders such as Gravity Forms of Ninja Forms)

Elastic Press-a fast and flexiblesearchand query engine for WordPress, enables WordPress to find or “query” relevant content extremely fast through a variety (build on elastic search)

Additional qualifications (advantage/plus points):

Building and Overriding of Custom WordPress Plugin

Integrating SDK’s on Server Side technologies such as PHP

Plugin Installation/Configuration

ECommerce Integrations

Configuring Multiple Prod/QA/Dev Environment Deployments

Systems Integration tools (REST, SOAP, ETL)

Strong understanding of databases, SQL Server query language (TSQL), and proficient in data modeling and data management

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a six (6) month REMOTEcontract position with strong opportunity to extend, or turn into fulltime work based on performance. Open to residents of Canada and USA who are able to work Eastern time zone.
