ServiceNow Administrator (Remote)

Systematix is currently looking for a Certified ServiceNow System Administrator to help support the significant amount of global workforce requirements, currently coordinated by their singular administrator.

Our client is one of the world’s leading Life Sciences companies in the world, with offices around the globe.

In this role, you would be working with the Applications Manager Leader and existing ServiceNow Administrator in their daily duties, including the development of automated processes to help streamline the use and implementation of new users, organizational changes and other ServiceNow duties. Please note: Our client is considering a mandatory pre-requisite of being either a ServiceNow System Admin or Developer. Those without may be considered secondary candidates, unless commensurate experience justifies the lack of certification.

This role will work closely within the IT planning organization, primarily with incoming IT M&A (merger and acquisitions) and leaders of various organizations under the parent company (Danaher) in the midst of transitioning into their global portfolio.

This is a fairly autonomous role, working remotely for a Global organization, and someone who waits for the next thing to do, won't be a good fit. We need someone who can take charge of their role, see beyond the job description, and make it their own. We'll need a dynamic self-starter, who leverages their exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to make the varied projects track smoothly, with no surprises.

Your responsibilities in the role will be:

Administration, development and support of a ServiceNow platform for a global organization.

Role includes automation of processes through ServiceNow workflows, implementation of new functionality to meet business requirements and support of existing ITIL implementation in a GxP environment

Platform patching, upgrades, and new module releases

Integration with core identity solutions, infrastructure and applications and configuration management systems.

Contribute to meeting the departmental key performance indicators.

Provide training to IT community as required.

To follow relevant legal requirements and the Company Health & Safety Policy.

To keep your work area tidy and free from hazards.

Report and address any safety defects.

Some of the qualifications you’ll need to have are:

Strong administration and development experience of a ServiceNow platform across all ITIL components

Experience of development and administration of Service Desk and Change Management solutions in a GxP environment

Excellent knowledge of best practice for service delivery solutions

Excellent judgement and strong analytical skills

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple, parallel tasks and projects.

Be prepared to travel and work unsociable hours.

    Provide out of hours support.

    Provide coverage for National Holidays.

This is a 6-month contract role, in a remote (or potentially hybrid capacity – dependent on your locale) capacity anywhere in Canada, the United States or the EU and Britain. There is a strong opportunity for extension.
