Salesforce System Analyst

We areSystematix and we are currently looking for a Business System Specialist with strong Salesforce and experience to fill a contract position with one of our Life science clients.

Our client is one of North America’s leading Scientific Test and Measurement organizations, with offices worldwide. As Salesforce System Analyst for the Global Commercial Operations group, you will be part of a team delivering the most creative, sophisticated, and challenging applications on the platform. You will be a key contributor and member of the functional project team responsible for gathering information from key users/stakeholders in order to support the designing, planning and executing delivery of custom applications and enhancements that are uniquely tailored to the business and stakeholder’s needs. The solutions utilize deeply technical aspects of all areas of the platform, and require the highest quality implementations built for scale, efficiency, and a great customer experience. You will report to the SFDC Technical Manager and will have the opportunity to interact with and leverage the collective knowledge of Commercial Operations team, which includes: Global Analytics, Market Intelligence, Sales and Service Operations, Data Governance and Commercial Strategy.

    Collaborating and consulting with stakeholders, both internally and externally to craft dynamic and flexible solutions to meet the needs of a rapidly growing sales organization.

    Partnering cross-functionally with business application owners (Salesforce, Field Service Lightning, Eloqua, PowerBi, Oracle ERP and others ) to ensure our business automation and data management processes are smooth and well connected.

    Evaluating business requirements to identify best in class process and technology solutions

    Assisting in defining, estimating, and shaping technical solutions using best practices

    Leading and managing the design, configuration, and deployment of third-party tools in enterprise IT projects

    Optimizing processes in Salesforce Sales cloud in lightning environment.

    Conducting requirements interviews to uncover underlying problems and prepare detailed recommendations for process and system improvements

    Working with technical leads to transform and develop design and implementation documents;

    Defining and documenting user interfaces and data requirements and develop functional specifications and system design specifications;

    Leading quality assurance and testing to mitigate risks and ensure issues are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner;

    Creating training materials and documentation


    Ability to understand complex business issues, to identify and evaluate opportunities with the greatest ROI for improvement, and Architect a road map for delivering effective solutions with high sense of urgency. takes ownership, is accountable, and organized with rigorous attention to detail.

    Ability to engage and guide the business in weighing competing priorities, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and to work to implement new solutions and provide day to day problem solving and support.

    Excellent technical, analytical, and diagnostics skills, and effective problem management skills.

    Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, with the knack to tailor method and style to the audience and situation.


    Minimum 5+ years of direct experience working as a Business Systems Analyst at a Global setting.

    Minimum 5+ years of direct experience working with Salesforce administration or development.

    Ability to serve as a lead subject matter expert and champion to drive industry best practices for the evolution of the company’s ecosystem of integrated tools.

    Ability to lead investigations regarding new Salesforce features and functionality, contribute to recommendations for process improvements and keep application users informed about system functionality and enhancements.

    Experience with Agile methodologies

    Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

    Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented with analytical mindset

    Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.

    Commitment to excellent customer service.

    Comfort in dealing with company personnel at all levels.

    Ability to work independently or collaboratively as required.

    Project Management experience

    The ideal candidate will have experience with at least one of the following:

    Apex Development

    Lightning Component Development

    Field Service Lightning Implementation and best practices

    Informatica ETL integration




This is a 6+ month contract position, located in our client’s North Toronto offices. After initial onboarding and ramp-up, you will work primarily remote with the expectation of returning onsite occasionally.
