IT Support Analyst
Systematix is currently looking for an IT Support Analyst to support the implementation of a technical environment in our client’s new premises.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client is one of the world’s leading Life Sciences companies, with offices around the globe. Working as IT Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing Level 1 and 2 deskside support for IT Operations for all relevant IT infrastructure, systems and applications.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing user and administrative support for desktop and local server systems.
Providing technical guidance to users and management for desktop support and local server systems.
Assisting Supervisor in development of desktop support and local server systems strategy.
Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of all relevant hardware and software.
Implementation and support of network operating systems and services.
Configuration, installation & deployment of all PC’s and PC related peripherals.
Configuration, installation, deployment & support of desktop management suite.
Supporting local manufacturing systems.
Developing and maintaining appropriate desktop and server related procedures and ensure these procedures are enforced.
Developing & maintaining appropriate disaster recovery procedures.
Developing a working knowledge of department specific applications.
Keeping abreast of technical aspects of PC-LAN computing environment.
Performing system analysis and utilization reports as required.
ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent)
Up-to-date professional IT certification
3+ year experience of providing end user desktop support
3+ year experience of PC applications / operating systems / hardware
Good knowledge of IT hardware and associated peripherals
Good knowledge of Microsoft operating system and Office applications
Ability to use technical documentation and diagnostic tools to solve hardware and software problems
Ability to perform risk assessments.
Ability to work as part of a team
Good judgment and strong analytical skills as well as follow-up and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a 3-month contract role to be performed at our client’s site in the Los Angeles area.
